Because we knew the area that we were looking in fairly well when we decided to pursue a property that Diane was listing, we did not have a broker and engaged her as a duel broker (representing us as well as the seller). The negotiations went on for several months. Despite the fact that Diane was representing the seller as well as us, we felt she did an extraordinary job being fair to both parties. We always felt extremely well served as buyers – a delicate balance artfully executed. We are happy to continue to work with Diane as she lists the property for vacation rental.
