I dreamed of moving to Maine where I had vacationed for four decades. I met Diane probably 15 years ago and started looking at houses within the last 6 years. I loved every house I saw but was terrified to make the decision. I knew that once I left my home town there would be no going back as the real estate prices were astronomical. In April 2018 Diane called to say that she found the perfect home for me and that I had to travel to Maine immediately to see it as it would be sold quickly. I raced up and the moment I stepped inside I knew I was home. I had no idea how I was going to pull it off and my head was spinning. Diane calmed me down, explained everything in easy to understand language, and practically held my hand through the entire process. It was a whirlwind but I somehow sold my house (in one day), singlehandedly packed up and threw out 50 years of possessions from two houses, and moved to Tenants Harbor in sixty days. Diane has an encyclopedic knowledge of the area having grown up here. She has been invaluable in steering me toward reputable tradesmen and I know I can count on her for expert advice. There could not be a happier, more content person on the coast of Maine than me. I love my home, the town of Tenants Harbor, and all the wonderful people I’ve met. I truly feel that I am now home and it is all due to Diane’s expertise, professionalism, and most importantly friendship.
